Here is a little guide how to use it so you get the most out of your smoothie maker or juicer:

Positives:

  • Increased nutrients
  • Delicious
  • Convenient
  • Could aid your nutrition goals

Negatives:

  • Massive sugar hit
  • Could make weight loss impossible
  • Could mess up energy and blood sugar levels

How to use it:

  • To increase nutrient intake
  • With very little fruit if not exercising
  • With protein and fat
  • Or accompany a meal with protein and fat with lots of vegetables

How not to use it:

  • To consume a lot of fruit on its own
  • Instead of a meal
  • Without exercise
