Today's green smoothie

I feel like I’m coming down with a cold so I’m upping my vegetable intake and my favourite way to do that is by having a veg and fruit smoothie with my breakfast and lunch.

This is the smoothie I had today :) xx

INGREDIENTS (SERVES 1-2)

  • 1 apple

  • 1 celery stick

  • 1 handful of frozen mangos

  • 1 handful of frozen or fresh spinach

  • 2-3 cm piece of cucumber

  • 1/2 avocado

  • 2-3 cm broccoli stalk

  • a handful of frozen buckthorn

  • 1/2 carrot

  • 1 large leave of green cabbage

  • a dash of lemon juice

  • 1 cm piece of ginger

  • 6 stalks of fresh mint

  • 150ml of water

METHOD

  1. Chop everything up and put it in your blender or nutribullet

  2. add the water and blend it all together until smooth

  3. you can use coconut water if you prefer I just prefer water.
